Just for your information, I really like coffee, and I’ve tried almost all Coffee Shop Denpasar Bali. Starting from roadside stalls to instagrammable cafes that serve coffee. Well, the list of coffee shops that I will give to you is a list of my personal favorite coffee shops.

Most of the time, I choose it because the coffee is really good or the place is cool (and most importantly the price is still pocket-friendly)… Hehehehe… Okay without further ado, let’s talk about the Best Coffee Shop in Bali!

Volken Coffee

Contents

This is mimin’s favorite Coffee Shop for work in 2021. His name is Volken Coffee. Well, what’s so special about this Volken, bro? First, Mimin really likes the interior. Minimalist, white, and bright!

Yups, it’s really important for me to work in a cool and bright place because it doesn’t make you sleepy and can focus on work. In addition, although the place is not too big, it is very comfortable to chat with friends. Even when full, the atmosphere at Volken is not too noisy. It’s really comfortable!

Even in terms of location, Volken is very strategic to be a meeting point, friend! The location is on Jalan Dewi Sri, which is the heart of South Bali. Where there are so many places to hang out from angkringan to cafes with delicious food!

Oh yes, the coffee beans used here are actually handpicked by the owner who is an expert in the coffee field! So don’t be surprised if, at an affordable price, you can drink coffee with an amazing aunt! Don’t worry if you can’t drink coffee, you can also enjoy their signature tea collection. So many choices bro!

While drinking coffee, you can also glance next to Volken Coffee to find a snack shop, Saijo Mart which has a variety of contemporary snacks that you can rarely find in Bali!

It’s great for hanging out

Mannaka Bali

Been to Seminyak? Have you ever ordered coffee at a cafe around Seminyak? Pretty draining the pocket, right? Well, for those who are low on budget but still want to sip a cup of hot cappuccino in the morning, you can try stopping by this little coffee shop: Mannaka Bali.

This Balinese Mannaka really reminds me of having coffee at coffee shops in Japan.

How come? Yups, like coffee shops in Japan, Mannaka Bali has a very small size. But you will feel that this coffee shop has a strong character in terms of design. Minimal but memorable.

It’s no wonder that many people come to Mannaka specifically to take Instagram photos. Make sure you come early because the space here is not too big.

But while taking photos, don’t forget to try the Matchapresso. The mixture of bitter taste between espresso and matcha is very pleasant on the tongue.

Location: Jl. Petitenget No.19C Kerobokan Kelod, Seminyak – Bali

Open: Daily, 08:00 – 18:00

Hanaka Coffee

Even though the name looks similar to the previous coffee shop, the two of them don’t have a family relationship let alone an illicit relationship #ehhh Back to topic, if you are looking for a place to hang out in the Denpasar area to hang out with friends or just borrow wifi for work… maybe you can try Hanaka Coffee once in a while.

Just like Mannaka, Hanaka’s place is also not too big but has a minimalist interior design that is quite interesting.

The cement walls meet the white ceramic tiles and wooden furniture as if to make this coffee shop feel clean. Not to mention the lighting is bright enough, so it’s nice to wear while working.

But the problem is because it’s quite crowded, sometimes you’ll feel like you’re getting scathing glances from customers who don’t get a seat. Hehehe…

Besides being a coffee shop in Denpasar, Hanaka also has a distro shop, so be careful with your wallet, even though the price of coffee is quite cheap… You can be tempted to shop for clothes there!

Starbucks Reserve Dewata

“What?? Starbucks? Just kidding. Starbucks isn’t real coffee!” – surely some of Elbeh’s friends will comment like this in their hearts.

Eits.. wait for bosque, Starbucks looks different with their Reserve brand. Basically, Starbucks Reserve is their premium from Starbucks. The coffee beans used by them here are different. In addition, at each Reserve outlet, they also educate visitors about coffee beans.

For example, at Starbucks Reserve Dewata itself, you will be able to understand more about coffee through their various educational media. Starting from the coffee garden created in the back garden area, to visual media about coffee bean processing. Complete in essence.

One of the most AWESOME things about this super majestic coffee shop in Bali is its design. Every detail of the interior is really designed using the philosophy of coffee. But the resulting architecture is so beautiful to look at. Tsaaah…

Price? Yes, you know, Starbucks standards are definitely more expensive than regular coffee shops. Hehehehe. But for a place to hang out with friends, it’s worth it.

Recolta Cafe

For Elbeh friends who are looking for a coffee shop in the Jimbaran area, there is a coffee shop with a quite elegant design and not far from the Unud Campus and the Airport. Its name is Recolta Cafe.

The place is super cozy, a bit dim and the interior also looks luxurious. Hmmm… it looks like it’s really suitable for those of you who are planning to invite your partner on a date or maybe for a meeting with a prospective client. Hehehe…

Well, what is cool in Recolta in my opinion is the glass design behind the Cafe which directly faces the mangrove forest (Mangrove). Honestly, this is one of the charms of the Recolta design itself. This is an Instagram spot that will increase your engagement. Ha ha ha ha…

In addition to selling coffee, here you can also order various heavy foods such as burgers, or deserts such as Gelato. It’s quite a complete choice.

Full Circle by Expat Roasters

Let me guess, if you’ve had coffee in Bali several times… you must be familiar with the name Expat Roasters. In addition to opening itself, it turns out that Expat coffee beans are widely used with coffee shops or cafes, and restaurants in tourism areas.

Well, it’s not surprising. Even the Expat’s barista has already won an international competition. Well, if you want to know good coffee, you can try their coffee.

Well, recently they opened a new cafe in Ubud with a concept that is identical to the nature of Ubud. Its name is Full Circle by Expat Roasters.

The typical interior of an industrial cafe combined with some wood elements and forest-themed murals will make your visit to this cafe feel comfortable.

Each corner of the cafe is designed differently, from booth seating suitable for gathering with friends, to seats like cinema stairs.

Just keep in mind, because it has a row of titles and unique coffee beans, then you will have to spend more for a cup of coffee at Full Circle.

Artist Coffee

Looking for a coffee shop with a unique and creative concept? But the coffee also has to below? It’s still in the Ubud area too, the name is Seniman Coffee.

This Coffee Artist is an old player in the coffee world in Bali (and abroad). In fact, this artist is considered to be the producer of the best baristas in Bali.

What’s exciting is when you step into the coffee shop on Jl Sri Wedari (a small alley in Ubud which is now the best culinary center in Ubud).

You will find this coffee shop feels more like home. The barista will greet you in a friendly manner, even if you don’t know each other, you will talk about coffee or their vacation.

And what makes this cafe famous (besides coffee), is its unique rocking chair. Made of cheap plastic chairs, the legs of the chairs are given the addition of curved wood. Very unique and comfortable! No wonder the name is Seniman Coffee, the furniture is really ART.

In terms of price, it’s also a bit expensive compared to other coffee shops. And the most annoying thing is the very limited parking space. Don’t expect to be able to park if you take a car.

Revive Cafe

If you like the strong taste of coffee to make you literate while working all day at a coffee shop, try stopping by Revive Bali.

With a rustic tropical style design and a mural arrangement of ceramic tiles on the bar table, this coffee shop feels really hippie.

The coffee used here comes from the Revolver Espresso roast. In my opinion, this Revolver Espresso is of the same class as Expat Roasters, so you don’t need to doubt the quality, right?

In addition to being suitable as a place to work while having coffee, Revive Bali is also famous for its brunch and vegan menus.

Character Coffee

If I’ve recommended a coffee shop with a minimalist or modern design, now I want to give you a coffee shop in Bali with an old-school archipelago design. Hehehe…

The character of Kopi in the Renon area, Denpasar, was built on an old Joglo house, with vintage furniture from the time of our grandparents. Even though it seems old, this is actually the hallmark of the Coffee Character itself.

According to the location and concept, Character Kopi has a really pocket-friendly price. They even have a signature coffee called Kopi Date Tua!

So even if your wallet is cancerous (dry bag) at the end of the month, you have no reason not to get coffee because it’s pretty cheap!

Character Coffee

Location: Jl. Tukad Barito No.99, Renon – Bali

Open: Daily, 16:00 – 00:00
